Billy Goat Cookies

This cookie recipe has been in the family for generations. Lois Strickler Foley made them often. They are a family favorite.

½ cup butter 
3 eggs 
½ cup bacon grease 
1 ½ cup brown sugar 
2 ½ cup all-purpose flour 
¼ cup water (usually doesn’t need it) 
1 teaspoon soda 
1 pint raisins 
1 pint black walnuts 
1 teaspoon vanilla 
1 tablespoon cinnamon 

pinch of salt 

Mix. Drop on a cookie sheet and bake at 350° F until brown.
