Health-Improving Smoothies
Have fun mixing and matching these superfoods to make amazing smoothies.
Add about 2 cups of three or four of the fruits and vegetables with 2 cups of nut milk to a blender. Add ice as needed if ingredients have not been refrigerated or frozen. Add one or more of the “Great Things To Add” to taste. Blend until smooth.
Fruits and Vegetables:
Avocado (fresh or frozen)
Broccoli (fresh or frozen)
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Organic Celery
Organic Cucumber seeded and peeled
Organic Apples cored and peeled
Organic Pears cored and peeled
Organic Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Organic Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
Watermelon seeded and peeled
Kiwi
Organic Grapefruit seeded and peeled
Organic Lemon seeded and peeled
Organic Lime seeded and peeled
Organic Valencia Orange seeded and peeled
Great things to add:
1/2 Teaspoon Ceylon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Cloves
3 tablespoons Turmeric (plus 2⁄3 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper)
1 teaspoon Matcha Tea
2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
Ground Flax Seeds
Psyllium Husks
Herbs
