Split Pea Soup

1 pound dried green split peas
1 medium chopped white onion
6 stocks of chopped lovage with leaves
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 cups of chicken stock

Fresh celery can be substituted for lovage.

Rinse the peas. In a pressure cooker, saute the onion and lovage in olive oil until onions are transparent.
Add peas, water, and chicken stock. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes, and use natural release.
